Guarantee & Product Refund Policy
SPEQS® Eyewear and Lens Quality Guarantee
SPEQS® Limited advise that SPEQS frames and lenses are manufactured in accordance with exacting international standards and we believe them to be of the highest quality. If within twelve months of purchase, your glasses, lenses or contact lenses have any defects relating to material or production faults we will repair or replace them for you, free of charge. Application and coverage of Guarantee protection for SPEQS® distributed frames, lenses and related products is provided in Australia by SPEQS® Limited in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.\
When you order prescription glasses from us, we need accurate information from you to make sure your order is suited to you. By providing us with prescription information, you warrant that it is accurate and complete and that the information comes from a non-expired prescription that was validly provided to you by an eligible optometrist or ophthalmologist. You also agree to allow us to contact your optometrist or ophthalmologist on your behalf to confirm your prescription or to ensure we have all required information and to share this information with your practitioner as is necessary to complete your order.
If at any time after receiving your prescription order you experience any kind of problem with your glasses, please immediately remove the glasses and contact us so we can help resolve the situation. If you choose not to contact us, we recommend that you consult an optometrist and/or a medical practitioner as soon as possible.
Speqs will use an appropriate, average pupillary distance set by its supervising opticians, unless:
(A) You send your pupillary distance measurement to us; and/or
(B) one of Speqs' supervising opticians considers at his/her absolute discretion that it is necessary for you to obtain a pupillary distance measurement.

At SPEQS® we want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If you have any concerns within 30 days of the date of your purchase we will refund your purchase price in full. No questions and with no fuss.
Application of manufacturer Guarantee protection of SPEQS frames and lenses operates for a twelve (12) months period from date of shipping from the manufacturer to you.
(A) If you consider that frames or lenses supplied by SPEQS® Limited (the “Product”) are not of acceptable quality or has a latent defect you can make a claim under this Guarantee to have the item repaired or if required be replaced and returned to you in good order within a reasonable time allowing for transport and shipping.
(B) SPEQS® Limited confirms that this Guarantee will only be provided for its products sold within Australia and it is responsible for all reasonable expenses associated with any Guarantee Claim requiring transport and shipping of products.

This Guarantee and associated guarantees are limited to the buyer in the first instance and not transferable. To avoid doubt no Guarantee is provided if products are on-sold or transferred in any way to a third party without the express permission of the SPEQS® Limited in writing.
(A) This section identifies what is excluded under this Guarantee.
(B) This Guarantee does not cover damage caused by:
misuse or abusive use or inappropriate use of eyewear, lenses or contact lenses whether intentional or accidental;
exposure to excessive heat, extreme cold, moisture or dampness or otherwise any use outside of design parameters;
Customers Guarantee for SPEQS® Eyewear
Dear SPEQS® customer, Australian Consumer Law (“ACL”) as well as other State and Territory laws guarantee you certain conditions, warranties and undertakings, and give you legal rights, in relation to the quality and suitability of SPEQS® distributed frames and lenses sold in Australia.
Nothing in this Guarantee purports to modify or exclude the conditions, warranties and undertakings, and other legal rights, under the Australian Competition and Consumer Act 2010 and other Australian Laws. Our frames and lenses come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the frames and lenses repaired or replaced if the eyewear products fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
SPEQS® Customer Prescription Verification Permission
SPEQS® advise that in accordance with Australian privacy laws and in compliance with SPEQS® service supply agreements with associated Health Insurance Providers; we at SPEQS® require your permission and authorization to submit your prescription details to your Health Insurance Provider for verification as part of processing your order for frames, lenses or contact lenses.
